A new semester has begin for me now in my university and in fact, I’m in my last year of study for a bachelor degree of civil engineering. Previously, I was in industrial training for 10 weeks which took all of my semester break holidays (all 3rd year engineering students are required to undertake industrial training at the end of the year). I’ll however blog on my industrial training only on a later date, when i have settled most of the matters needed in this beginning of a new sem.

So, the question is, why am i blogging at this wee hour? I was awoken just half an hour ago (i dunno how) and saw a “charlie” (or correctly known as rove bettle) on my bed, between my legs! Ok, maybe not between my leg, as in “there”, but it made me immediately jump off my bed. WHAT THE H^LL IS THAT THING DOING THERE ON MY BED ?!! Of course that explains why i have charlie marks over my inner thighs which i couldn’t understand why, of all place, on that specific position. It was in a defensive mode, but to H^LL with it, i quickly dispose of it and reluctantly rush into a cold quick shower to wash off any venom on my body. Maybe i left the lights on and that’s why it attracted that stupid insect. Following the shower, i dispose of another 3 charlie and now, i am just afraid of sleeping back. Thanks a lot!

Rove bettle

So, i decided to blog, as it is already thursday and my blog dated as long as months ago. Basically i got moved into a smaller room at the 3rd floor and it requires a lot of cleaning before i can settle down. Apart from the number of stair flights i have to take to reach my room daily, the room is hmnn… let’s see… quite ok. But until now, i haven’t totally unpacked my stuffs.

As 4th year students, we are now all “seniors” to most of the students here in USMKKJ. Yeah, time flies. My first day here still felt like just yesterday. Over the past few days, i was busy in subject enrolments and basketball in the afternoon. Most of my coursemates are so energetic and anticipated to play basketball, maybe because of the lack of free time during industrial training period. Some of us playfully called it CBC which stands for Civil Basketball Club. We played basketball 3 days in a row and hopefully i can stop playing today as my leg is so painful from ovestressing during the games. That also explains why i did not fully unpacked.

So basically life is returning to normal USM life and mundane study life has return. I think i still prefer study to industrial training! One more year to go, and i will be a fresh graduate. I think i’m gonna miss my friends here…sigh. They came from all over malaysia and it will be hard to keep in contact apart from using the internet.

So, i think that’s all about it for now as i am still quite blur as i was prematurely awoken by the charlie encounter, which i wonder how was i awaken in the first place… sixth sense?? haha, probably just out of pain from the insect venom burning onto my skin. My class begins at 9 which is around 3 hours from now and if i don’t sleep back, i am gonna be in deep trouble! So, first blog of my new sems will end here and
